The Paleo Way

The paleo or Paleolithic diet is just designed to fit the real dietary needs of human beings. We are trying to eat in a similar way to out ancestors from the stone age. The Stone Age is  the time when we started to use weapons made of stone, and the killing animal prey became much more practical. Unlike the popular low-fat diet, the paleo diet is very high in the good saturated fats and usually low in carbohydrates (eating more than 3 or 4 fruits a day is high carb).This diet prohibits grains, dairy, legumes, refined sugar, vegetable oils and any processed food. This is because our bodies have not evolved to eat these and they can be very harmful to our health. On the paleo diet you should eat lots of meat, eggs, vegetables,  fruits, nuts and berries. For calcium I suggest almond milk(but most paleo dieters drink coconut milk, but some, like me, are allergic)  You should not count calories or try to control your portions, just eat until you are satisfied. And don’t be scared to try this, it’s strange, but definitely better  for all aspects of health, and it also gave me a huge energy boost. Feel your best in years and go the paleo way!
